Phil Wrenn

Phil Wrenn and his wife, Teresa, are founding members of Crossroads Community Church. Phil joined the Crossroads staff in 2007 as headmaster and administrator of The Oaks Christian School. He also serves as one of the church’s original elders.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of North Carolina and retired from Lowe’s Companies after a 23-year career. Phil has a reputation for being a caring peacemaker, good friend and dedicated teacher. Phil travels to Uganda each year to work with teachers and children in schools supported by Crossroads. Phil is married to Crossroads pre-school director Teresa Wrenn, and they have two children, Amanda and Erin.

Dean Willett

My name is Dr. Dean Willett, and I am the Administrator here at the Oaks.  My wife (and best friend) of 35 years is a local first grade teacher.  Both of my parents were teachers.  My daughter is working on her graduate degree at Clemson for yes...to be a math teacher.  So, for many years, I have witnessed the necessary dedication of teachers; but also the amazing rewards!

We are originally from Ohio.  I retired from my family medical practice in 2002.  I was then a corporate administrator for a firm in Washington, DC.  I truly felt God's calling to totally change my vocation to full time Christian service, so we moved to Summerville two years ago to follow God's leading.  We sincerely believe we found our destination here at The Oaks and Crossroads Community Church!

I have a passion for missions, and I have traveled to many foreign countries over the years; so, please do not be surprised if you hear about me organizing a group trip to a third world country.  I also love to read and play golf (but I was always told to keep my day job!). My motto when I was in my medical practice is the same one I bring to The Oaks; try to treat every family the same way I would treat my own.  And, try to serve with an obedient heart!  Thank you for allowing me to be part of The Oaks’ family!
